So who is BigDaddy and why such a silly name?

Christian "BigDaddy" Hines (owner), has been cleaning personal and family properties as a hobby for 20+ years. Originally, after graduating from The University of South Carolina, he began a career in Law Enforcement which led into also being a Firefighter, simultaneously. He wound up leaving those careers, and he and Mrs. BigDaddy loaded kids, dogs, and a handful of belongings in a plane and moved to the Caribbean, so Mrs. BigDaddy could study for her dream career.

During this time, BigDaddy transitioned into a stay-at-home father of two, and focused that time on the most important job of his life: to homeschool the children and run the household. He also began his research into studying every imaginable source of information on power washing, soft washing, pressure washing, and pertinent chemical combinations to broaden his knowledge base in the industry of exterior cleaning.

In 2021, BigDaddy's Power Washing and Sanitization Services, LLC began in South Carolina, where he hand-built his equipment trailer with professional and commercial grade equipment, not just a pressure washer from a box store. After completing his trailer, he took his knowledge base and began honing his skills through hands on experimenting and implementation of new and better methods of cleaning. Even now, BigDaddy keeps current with the information and practices of new and improved equipment and pressure washing solutions.

What made BigDaddy move to Florida?

Well, Mrs. BigDaddy grew up in Oviedo and has always had a desire to return. She had always spoken of her fond memories of running down the brick fence line of Alafaya Woods and exploring the forest where Winn-Dixie now resides, skipping school to go fishing in the no-longer-present ponds and streams of Oviedo, and riding horseback through the trails in the Black Hammock and over by the St. Johns. So, when the opportunity arose for her to further her career in Oviedo, it was not hard to agree to the move. So, once again, we loaded up the kids and dogs, and relocated.

Update on those homeschooled kids... our son graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Full Sail University here in Central Florida, and is now working on his Masters degree, also at Full Sail University. And, the little one behind this bio is in fourth grade at one of the great schools here in Oviedo. Our family is very fond of Central Florida and all of it's offerings, and we are proud to call Oviedo home.
